We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead the delivery of HR services across the Terra Verde Joint Venture. Reporting to the People & Culture Director, you will lead a team of HR professionals and partner closely with leaders across the project to drive workforce planning, employee relations, performance, remuneration and organisational capability. You will have experience in the engineering, construction or heavy industry sectors and know how to develop and implement strategies in a rapidly changing environment. Job Responsibility
Lead and develop the People & Culture team to deliver exceptional HR services across the project
Partner with leaders to provide strategic advice across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and organisational development
Drive the implementation of People & Culture strategies, policies and initiatives aligned to project objectives
Oversee performance development and review processes, supporting leaders to build high-performing teams
Lead complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance management processes
Manage remuneration and benefits administration, providing advice on market competitiveness and internal equity
Maintain workforce planning and reporting to support project delivery and future resource requirements
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industrial instruments and company policies
Champion diversity, inclusion and initiatives that support Terra Verde's Gender Equality Action Plan
Maintain accurate employee records and oversee HR governance, reporting and compliance
Requirements
Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law, Employee Relations or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in a senior HR leadership role within construction, infrastructure or a similarly complex environment
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations and contemporary HR practices
Experience leading performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations and remuneration processes
Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders
Strong leadership capability with experience developing and mentoring high-performing teams
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery in a fast-paced project environment
