Job Description:

IKEA Peterborough, Customer Distribution Centre are looking to welcome a People and Culture Manager. Our team of over 1200 coworkers perform in a high volume, fast paced and agile environment to secure stock availability in our multi-channel market. We are looking to recruit a People and Culture manager who is motivated to lead with purpose, who will shape and develop our people strategy with a business perspective.

Job Responsibility:

Guide and implement operational requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to support implementation of People and Culture strategy
Lead and coach P&C Business Partners and Coordinators
Identify, evaluate and monitor actual and potential labour issues
Supervise implementation of IKEA Employment standards and compliance
Participate in strategic business plan development
Coach Line Managers on workforce, talent, co-worker engagement solutions
Foster ongoing open dialogue with co-workers and associations
Ensure talent and succession goals are achieved
Provide co-worker relations expertise and advice

Requirements:

Value & culture driven leadership experience
Senior functional experience would be beneficial
Relevant experience in People and Culture within distribution, retail or related high-volume sector is beneficial
Relevant University degree is beneficial
Able to build positive relationships and create a culture where everyone feels valued
Experience in strategy development and stakeholder relations
Experience in performance management
Experience in HR issue resolution and policy management
Experience in business model guidance
Proven ability to prioritise and organise workload
Confidence to express ideas and opinions effectively through clear communication
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Nice to have:

Senior functional experience
Relevant experience in People and Culture within distribution, retail or related high-volume sector
Relevant University degree
