International Friendships, Inc. is a growing faith-based organization, whose mission is to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students. We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips. Our home office is based in Columbus, OH, and this position can be a work-from-home position from elsewhere in the U.S.
Job Responsibility
Lead the promotion and integration of IFI's Culture Values across all levels of the organization
Ensure all staff accurately 'GWC' their roles to maximize organizational health and employee fulfillment
Oversee and optimize the annual performance review process and EOS-driven Quarterly Conversations
Serve as an SLT advocate for staff retention, engagement, and morale
Address retention challenges among Next Gen staff
Develop recruitment and engagement strategies to attract 2nd and 3rd generation immigrant staff and volunteers
Foster authentic staff community through relationship-building initiatives
Plan and execute community-building times like the all-staff Retreat and the monthly 'Refresh' all-staff online meetings
Direct the Staff Care team to ensure all staff have access to comprehensive spiritual and mental health support
Connect staff with approved professional counseling resources
Oversee the National Prayer Coordinator and broader organizational prayer initiatives
Champion rhythms of rest and spiritual renewal
Provide tailored support and engagement strategies for Associate and volunteer staff
Serve as the organizational lead for implementing and maintaining Peace Pursuit frameworks
Equip supervisors and staff with Biblical conflict resolution training
Provide direct support, mediation, and guidance for complex staff issues
Provide oversight for the New Staff Orientation (NSO) cohorts
Collaborate with the National Ministry Director and HR to build seamless onboarding pathways
Develop ongoing professional and spiritual development pathways for veteran staff
Design and implement a structured leadership growth pipeline for young staff
Collaborate with the MPD team to provide enhanced support for International staff
Facilitate leadership development utilizing EOS tools and frameworks like Working Genius
Report regularly to the Senior Leadership Team
Collaborate seamlessly with Human Resources
Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international students out of reverence for Jesus
Godly character that follows the examples defined in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1
Understanding of the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, specifically utilizing tools like GWC, L10s, and Quarterly Conversations
Exceptional interpersonal and mediation skills, with a strong foundation in Biblical peacemaking (experience with Peace Pursuit highly preferred)
High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential staff issues with grace, truth, and discretion
