As People and Culture Manager for Four Seasons Hotel Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, you will support the Director of People & Culture (DoPC) in directing and overseeing all aspects of the People & Culture division including benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention of employees, communication to all employees, career development of employees, wage & hour compliance, training, workers’ compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees. To assist the DoPC in implementing People & Culture strategies to support Hotel’s business goals and strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Director of People & Culture in directing and overseeing all aspects of the People & Culture division
Administer Human Resources policies and procedures
Ensure Human Resources practices comply with local labor laws
Complete required reports for corporate and regulatory bodies
Maintain accurate employee records and Human Resources systems
Collaborate with department heads to recommend appropriate manning levels
Identify best sources of talent
Conduct interviews, select best-fit candidates
Support onboarding and orientation programs
Foster harmonious employee relations
Handle basic grievances, disciplinary matters, and industrial relations issues
Maintain effective communication channels with employees
Organize employee engagement activities
Ensure employee welfare and benefits are administered per hotel policies
Educate and train managers on hotel policies
Coordinate training programs and career development initiatives
Handle monthly payroll closing process
Support benefits administration and employee recognition programs
Ensure quality food offerings and cleanliness at the employee cafeteria
Oversee maintenance of heart-of-house facilities
Support the Director of People & Culture in annual budgeting exercises
Prepare HR-related reports and maintain compliance documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
3-5 years of experience in People & Culture/HR, preferably within hospitality or a service-driven environment
Strong understanding of HR policies, labor law, and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a people-first mindset
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to read, speak, and write good English
