Job Description

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of People and Culture, The P&C Generalist will support the People & Culture (HR) function with a focus on employee engagement, onboarding, recognition, communication, and administrative excellence, while fostering an environment where every employee feels valued, informed, and inspired.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the P&C office, including answering employees' questions and requests.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee events and programs (Service Awards, Annual Party, Recognition Events, Holiday & Theme Celebrations, Wellness Initiatives, Children’s Events, FS For Good Initiatives, etc.)
  • Assist TA Manager with recruitment, interview and hiring tasks and processes
  • Support the new hire orientation and training processes
  • Contribute to the coordination of learning programs by preparing materials, managing attendance, and supporting internal communication. Facilitate training programs as required in the absence of L&D Manager
  • Maintain complete and accurate employee files in accordance with legal and company standards.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR/ People & Culture field is essential (or hospitality-related experience.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with others and build trust.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • experience with Workday or similar HRIS preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

Bilingual proficiency, preferably in English and Spanish, is strongly preferred
