A large operational organisation delivering major events and experiences across Victoria is seeking a P&C Advisor for a 13-month fixed-term opportunity. This role spans ER, IR and generalist HR matters within a high-volume operational workforce. Working closely with an experienced People & Culture team, you'll partner with leaders across a diverse operational environment supporting both casual and permanent employees. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, strong stakeholder engagement, and being part of a collaborative and supportive team where people genuinely enjoy working together.
Job Responsibility
Providing day-to-day HR advisory support to leaders and a predominantly casual workforce
Managing ER/IR matters including grievances, misconduct, and performance matters
Supporting leaders with policy interpretation and employee conversations
Advising on Awards, EBAs, and workforce compliance matters
Coaching frontline managers across employee relations issues
Supporting a large operational workforce with both casual and permanent employees
Partnering closely with stakeholders across operations and corporate functions
Requirements
Previous experience in a generalist role
Strong ER/IR capability including investigations and case management
Exposure to Awards
Experience supporting operational or frontline workforce environments
Ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees
