At Balfour Beatty Pensions Centre, we’re looking for a Pensions Delivery Manager to drive operational excellence and ensure our pension services run seamlessly. This is your chance to lead a talented team, shape processes, and deliver outstanding results for thousands of members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead with confidence: Manage three direct reports and a team of 18 pension professionals
  • Deliver excellence: Ensure timely, accurate pension transactions and compliance with all statutory and scheme requirements
  • Innovate and improve: Develop operational plans, implement service enhancements, and champion continuous improvement
  • Collaborate: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including actuaries, legal advisers, and administration providers
  • Stay ahead: Monitor SLAs, produce performance reports, and support new systems and legislative changes

Requirements:

  • A recognised pensions qualification (APMI/FPMI)
  • 10+ years’ experience in pensions administration and service delivery
  • Proven ability to inspire and manage teams
  • Deep knowledge of DB and DC pensions, pension systems (ideally Compendia), and strong IT skills
  • Clear, concise, and confident communication – both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results on time
