Job Description

Join a leading consultancy and take the lead on pensions post-transaction wind-up projects. Are you a part-qualified or qualified pensions consultant (FIA/FFA/APMI), looking for your next career move? Working closely with both Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers of UK DB pension schemes, you will provide oversight of scheme wind-up activities, including planning, monitoring and ensuring milestones are met. You will also lead on or support strategic and technical aspects such as factor comparisons, lump sum exercises, funding reserves and surplus balance sheets. In addition, you will provide oversight of data cleansing, GMP Equalisation, administration transition and settlement of DC/residual benefits. With excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a collaborative mindset, the successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills. Experience in consultancy or supporting UK pension schemes (e.g., actuarial work, bulk annuities, trustee exec, scheme management) also required.
