Job Description

Adbri currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quarry Worker to join our team in a full-time permanent position at our Penrose Quarry, NSW. In this role, you will operate a variety of fixed and mobile plant equipment including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, water carts, service/fuel trucks, and crushing and screening plants. We are seeking a multiskilled operator with demonstrated dump truck and front-end loader experience who thrives in a fast-paced quarry environment. This position involves day or afternoon shift work, Monday to Friday, with rostered Saturdays as required. You will join a supportive team culture where safety, flexibility, reliability, and taking pride in your work are highly valued.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain strong safety and environmental standards
  • Operate a range of mobile plant and quarry equipment
  • Operate dump trucks and front-end loaders safely and efficiently
  • Support crushing and screening operations
  • Complete basic maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping
  • Undertake general labouring duties as required
  • Work effectively within a team environment

Requirements

  • Experience as a multiskilled operator in quarrying, mining, or similar industries
  • Proven dump truck and front-end loader experience
  • Current RII/VOC competencies preferred
  • Understanding of crushing and screening operations
  • Current driver's licence
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus
