Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in PEGA development for enterprise-grade workflow and business process management solutions
PEGA certification at PCSSA/CSSA level or higher
ability to apply best practices in real-world implementations
Proven expertise in integrating PEGA applications with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, JDBC, and ETL frameworks
Ability to design scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Strong troubleshooting capability, with experience in diagnosing and resolving complex functional and technical issues
Experience in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and optimizing application design
Good understanding of SDLC, change management, incident management, and risk & control frameworks in a regulated environment
Strong documentation skills to produce high-quality technical and functional artefacts
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across development, testing, and business teams
Nice to have
Domain knowledge of Payments, Exceptions & Investigations, preferably with exposure to Pega Smart Investigate
Familiarity with payment messaging standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, FED, CHIPS, SEPA, FPS
Experience with PEGA DevOps and Deployment Manager, including CI/CD and environment management
Understanding of middleware and backend technologies such as Tomcat and PostgreSQL
Experience working in Agile delivery models
Awareness of modern engineering practices, automation, and emerging trends in the payments domain
Exposure to production support (L3), incident resolution, and close coordination with operations teams
Flexibility to support release activities and critical issues outside standard working hours when required
