We are currently seeking a Pega Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Senior System Architect (Pega) Department: IT / Digital Transformation Location: Hybrid Experience Level: 5–8+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade BPM and case management solutions using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Pega application architecture, best practices, integration strategies, and performance optimization, and will play a key role in leading technical design and mentoring team members. The SSA will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Pega applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement end-to-end Pega solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
  • Define application layer structure, class hierarchy, case types, data models, and integration patterns
  • Ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails and best practices
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and performance
  • Develop complex case workflows, UI rules, data pages, decision rules, and integrations
  • Implement REST/SOAP integrations, connectors, and services
  • Configure and optimize decisioning, routing, SLAs, and business rules
  • Implement security, access control, and authentication mechanisms
  • Support DevOps practices including CI/CD and deployment automation
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Optimize database queries, reports, and background processing
  • Ensure application scalability and high availability
  • Provide technical leadership to Pega developers and System Architects
  • Mentor junior team members and review deliverables
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement
  • Work closely with Business Architects and stakeholders for requirement clarification
  • Support UAT and production deployment activities
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain documentation for architecture, integrations, and deployment processes
  • Conduct guardrail compliance reviews and quality assurance checks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of IT experience with Pega application development and minimum 3 years of hands-on Pega development experience with constellation
  • Strong experience with: Pega PRPC / Pega Platform (v7.x / v8.x or above), Case Management and BPM concepts, Data modelling and class structure design, Integration services (REST, SOAP, JMS, Kafka, etc.), Pega Decisioning and business rules, UI/UX configuration using Pega UI frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Pega guardrails and performance tuning
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to have:

  • Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA/SSA) certification – Mandatory
  • Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) – Preferred
  • Experience with: Pega Customer Service / Sales Automation / Smart Dispute (if applicable), Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.), Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), Microservices architecture
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations
