ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required
Clean malpractice record
Ability to provide a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Job Responsibility

Attend vaginal deliveries and emergent C-sections
Admit/discharge newborns and care for pediatric patients
Perform procedures such as circumcisions and lumbar punctures
Collaborate with a nursing team, anesthesiologists, OB/GYNs, and respiratory therapists
Consult with local pediatricians and NICU physicians as needed

Ped Adv Life Support Prov(AHA)
Certification: Physician Assistant, National Commission
Drug Enforcement Agency, DEA: DEA Controlled Substance II, IIn, III, IIIn, IV, V as required by department, dependent on scope of practice

Job Responsibility

Implements the role of expert practitioner, consultant, educator, and researcher within a specialized area of patient care
