As a Pediatrician at Sollis Health, you will provide primary care to our members-only pediatric patients and play a pivotal role in shaping and establishing our pediatric services in our South Florida region. This unique opportunity combines clinical excellence with entrepreneurial spirit, as you’ll be instrumental in creating and implementing patient care protocols, developing relationships with families, and contributing to the overall vision of our organization. Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive, personalized medical care to children from infancy through adolescence
Assist in development of our concierge pediatric care model, including creating patient care protocols, service offerings, training for Nurses and other ancillary staff, and operational workflows
Educate families about health, wellness, and preventive care
Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions
Prescribe medications and treatments and manage ongoing care for chronic conditions
Educate parents and guardians on health maintenance, disease prevention, and child development
Offer guidance on topics such as nutrition, safety, and behavioral issues
Address and discuss any concerns or questions parents may have about their child’s health
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
Document patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans in our EMR
Work with the Medical Director and clinical team to maintain and implement policies, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care
Partner with our team of Sollis providers to deliver comprehensive care for pediatric patients
Represent Sollis at local membership and marketing events
Collaborate with the Care Navigation team to build up our list of pediatric specialist medical partner options
Coordinate with local hospitals for patient admissions and ongoing care as needed
Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with patients and their families
Performs related duties as requested
Requirements:
Medical Degree from an Accredited Medical School
Physician state license and ability to practice in Florida
American Board of Pediatrics Board Certification required
3+ years' experience as a pediatric physician in a hospital or physician practice
