Join our team that supports wound/skin and ostomy care throughout the inpatient hospital setting. This position will provide inpatient care and management of the wound and ostomy patient. This is a part time 0.3 FTE position working several shifts in a 2 week pay period. (more likely an 8 hour shift rather than 12) Primarily during first shift hours but must be flexible to work hours as a team to meet patient care needs. May increase to a .5 (40 hours in a 2 week pay period) in the future. Responsibilities further include being a partner in the wound/skin/ostomy care team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care, and delegating patient activities as appropriate. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary health care teams, communication with patients, family and staff, and evaluation of quality outcomes.

Requirements
Associate's Degree required
License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
License RN-Registered Nurse (AZ Compact) - State of Arizona
License RN-Registered Nurse (ND Compact) - State of North Dakota
License RN-Registered Nurse (TN Compact) - State of Tennessee
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
minimum of 2 years RN experience
Wound and Ostomy certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not currently certified
Nice to have
three to four years pediatric nursing experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Wound and Ostomy certification through the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society
