Job Description:

Wolfson Children's Hospital is currently looking to add a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to our Outpatient Pediatric Rehab Team. This is a Full-Time position located at Wolfson Children's North / Airport Rehab Clinic. The ideal candidate would be flexible to work weekdays during periods of high census and holiday rotations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluation and treatment of patients with all diagnoses
  • Provide extensive patient/family education
  • Provide multidisciplinary team care with other Rehab. professionals, nursing, physicians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc.
  • Work in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree
  • Less than 1 year Experience working in an outpatient setting
  • Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required
  • Active BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure from the FL Department of Health required
  • Previous experience working in a pediatric outpatient setting and evaluation experience is required
