Job Description:

Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time role in San Francisco, CA.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide advanced practice care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the PICU or cardiovascular ICU
  • Perform comprehensive assessments including history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
  • Manage patients requiring general cardiovascular critical care, including post-operative congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and acute decompensated heart failure
  • Oversee “bagging”/manual ventilation during procedures, transport, or emergencies

Requirements:

  • Current CA, NP License
  • Board Certified
  • BLS, PALS Certifications
  • DEA Certification
  • Covid Vaccination and booster
  • 1 year of experience

  • providing lifestyle coaching, and conducting one-on-one patient visits and group visits in a hospital clinic setting
  • Providing patient and family education
  • collaborating with outside community resources including but not limited to school and insurer-based case coordination services
  • Providing case management including oversight and interpretation of laboratory results for patients with diabetes
  • ordering of therapeutics, durable medical supplies and refills for prescription medications
  • as well as coordination of referrals and diagnostic studies as needed in consultation with the patient’s physician
  • Working 40 hours per week, day shift M-F. (Availability to work at Weymouth and N. Dartmouth primarily as well as some time in Boston).
