This is a part time 12 hour night shift with every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation. Targeting start date in May 2026. Seeking candidates with minimum of 1 year NICU RN experience to be considered for part time schedule. Weekend program staff also have a holiday rotation. Must be willing to commit to hired schedule for at least 18 months after completing orientation. 6+ years wait to get to straight regular days schedule due to the size of the unit and team. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 76-bed unit designed for the individualized care of critically ill newborns and their families from admission to discharge. These infants are admitted from a diverse geographical area for specialized medical and/ or surgical needs. These infants and families are cared for by a unique blend of interdisciplinary caregivers: neonatal nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, human milk technicians, physicians, OT/PT and speech therapists, respiratory care practitioners, social workers, pharmacists, dieticians and internal case managers. Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience). A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. NRP certification within 1 year of employment.

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year NICU RN experience for part time schedule
Associate's Degree ADN required
2+ years nursing experience required
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required
License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
License RN-Registered Nurse (TN Compact) - State of Tennessee
License RN-Registered Nurse (NE Compact) - State of Nebraska
NRP certification within 1 year of employment
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree BSN preferred
Previous pediatric and /or medical surgery experience preferred
