Job Description:

Integrative Emergency Services is seeking an experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to serve as the Fellowship Associate Medical Director for the new ACGME approved Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program at Saint Francis Children's Hospital. This unique opportunity will be responsible for assisting with the development of the new Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship program at Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The program has been approved by the ACGME and will welcome the inaugural class in July 2027. In addition to clinical service, academic responsibilities for the PEM Fellowship Associate Medical Director role will include teaching multiple levels of learners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Fellowship Program Director by providing on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship program
  • Assure compliance with ACGME standards and serve as liaision with ACGME
  • Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
  • Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
  • Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
  • Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and support staff
  • Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership

Requirements:

  • Pediatric Emergency Medicine trained
  • Active Oklahoma medical license, DEA & BNDD, or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience as a Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director
