Starting a child off right as they begin their dental journey by providing quality, compassionate care is fundamental to the position. You will serve a steady stream of new patients as well as those that are internally referred. You focus on providing excellent dentistry while enjoying clinical autonomy. Job Responsibility:
Review patients’ medical history, current medications, existing conditions, previous dental work, vital signs, and informed consent forms as needed
Diagnose patients’ dental needs and create individualized treatment plans
Work in collaboration with general dentists and other specialists as needed
Educate patients (and their parents) on their diagnosis to ensure acceptance and confidence in their treatment
Provide preventative, restorative, and surgical treatment while meeting the standard of care as defined by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
Complete progress notes, ensuring that they are clear and comprehensive
Requirements:
DDS or DMD from an accredited school
Licensed to work in Hawaii (at time of start)
5 years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry is preferred
Completed post-doctoral residency program in area of specialty
