South Shore Hospital, a 374-bed community hospital, seeks Board Eligible/ Board Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our growing team caring for both pediatric and adult patients. Full Time, Part Time, or Per Diem opportunities available. Our Department of Anesthesia is a diverse and collegial group of physicians who perform a case mix both by solo MD and CRNA supervision. Case mix includes vascular, ortho, general, gyn, thoracic, neuro, healthy peds, trauma and obstetric cases. We are looking to grow our pediatric platform and our pediatric anesthesia team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Caring for both pediatric and adult patients
  • Perform a case mix both by solo MD and CRNA supervision
  • Cases would include both adults and pediatrics as well as obstetrics

Requirements:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist
  • Pediatric fellowship is required
  • Deep understanding and concern for the emotional well-being of children and adults undergoing surgery and their families
  • Ability to work effectively with surgeons, CRNAs, SRNAs, nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Well trained, enthusiastic, collegial, team-player
