Job Responsibility:
Delivering Engaging Content: You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging PE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum
Fostering Teamwork and Skill: Guide students in developing their physical skills, understanding of sports, and appreciation for teamwork and fair play in a supportive environment
Collaborating with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department
Full Teaching Responsibilities: Your role will include lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare
Requirements:
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related field
proven experience teaching the PE UK curriculum at the secondary level
excellent classroom and field management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
adaptable, reliable, and have strong communication skills
a passion for physical education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
