Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering Engaging Content: You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging PE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum
  • Fostering Teamwork and Skill: Guide students in developing their physical skills, understanding of sports, and appreciation for teamwork and fair play in a supportive environment
  • Collaborating with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department
  • Full Teaching Responsibilities: Your role will include lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
  • Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare

Requirements:

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related field
  • proven experience teaching the PE UK curriculum at the secondary level
  • excellent classroom and field management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
