Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum
Organise and supervise practical sports activities and maintain safety standards
Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles among pupils
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning
Manage classroom and sports hall behaviour effectively
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching PE at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire a love of physical education
Experience working with female students and promoting positive engagement
Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
A proactive approach to promoting pupil progress and achievement
