Job Description:

A lovely secondary academy in Enfield are looking for a qualified PE to join their staff team on a full-time contract basis from September. This high-achieving all-girls school is based in Mill Hill, North-West London. The award winning leadership team have created a supportive and nurturing culture across the school that supports students to achieve academic success and to thrive socially, emotionally and physically.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teaching PE across Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 to female pupils
  • Teaching weekly PE lessons across a range of indoor and outdoor sports and fitness activities
  • Improving students’ health and wellbeing
  • Encouraging students to become physically competent
  • Promoting a lifelong healthy approach to fitness

Requirements:

  • Qualified PE teacher
  • Good understanding of the PE national curriculum
  • Ability to teach pupils at all ability levels
  • Engaging teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire pupils
  • Previous experience teaching in a secondary school or academy
