Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) to join our partner secondary schools in Ipswich. This role is ideal for a practitioner who thrives in both the sports hall and on the field, delivering high-quality practical sessions and theoretical PE at KS3 and KS4. You will be joining a school community that values the role of physical education in building character, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality practical sessions and theoretical PE at KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver high-energy practical lessons across a variety of sports
  • Lead GCSE PE or BTEC Sport theory sessions
  • Adapt coaching style to engage all ability levels
  • Maintain rigorous health and safety standards
  • Organise after-school fixtures, inter-house competitions, and sports clubs
  • Work collaboratively with the faculty to track student progress and contribute to the wider school culture

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related sports science discipline
  • Subject Passion

  • Compliance (enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process a new one via Randstad)
