We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) to join our partner secondary schools in Ipswich. This role is ideal for a practitioner who thrives in both the sports hall and on the field, delivering high-quality practical sessions and theoretical PE at KS3 and KS4. You will be joining a school community that values the role of physical education in building character, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver high-quality practical sessions and theoretical PE at KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver high-energy practical lessons across a variety of sports
Lead GCSE PE or BTEC Sport theory sessions
Adapt coaching style to engage all ability levels
Maintain rigorous health and safety standards
Organise after-school fixtures, inter-house competitions, and sports clubs
Work collaboratively with the faculty to track student progress and contribute to the wider school culture
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS
Degree in Physical Education or a related sports science discipline
