Job Description

A lovely secondary academy in Enfield are looking for a qualified PE to join their staff team on a full-time contract basis from September. In this role you will be teaching PE across Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 to female pupils. All pupils undertake weekly PE lessons across a range of indoor and outdoor sports and fitness activities. The school have a holistic approach for PE lessons to improve students’ health and wellbeing and to encourage students to become physically competent and to promote a lifelong healthy approach to fitness.

Job Responsibility

  • Teaching PE across Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 to female pupils
  • Work within a small dedicated PE teaching team

Requirements

  • Qualified PE teacher
  • Good understanding of the PE national curriculum
  • Ability to teach pupils at all ability levels
  • Engaging teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire pupils
  • Previous experience teaching in a secondary school or academy
