Develop, support, and optimize control equipment in existing manufacturing and testing processes, as well as in new projects, ensuring the achievement of organizational objectives and the development of continuous improvement proposals for applied processes and equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Programming manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, fastening systems, robots, scanners, servomotors, among others
Programming languages: C#, Visual Basic, SPEL+
Optimization of sequences, algorithms, and programs for manufacturing equipment
Installation, commissioning, and creation of SOPs for new equipment, tooling, and devices
Development, integration, and installation of workstations in compliance with BorgWarner standards
Management of SCADA systems for data administration and collection in manufacturing processes
Administration of required software for control equipment
Management and maintenance of proper backups of control system programs
Coordination with the Manufacturing Engineering area to optimize control and safety systems
Participation in corrective and preventive actions related to maintenance issues
Statistical studies and production line analysis to detect failures and document improvement results
Updating control systems on production equipment
Verification of compliance with defined production process steps through system logic
Ensuring control equipment remains current and operational
Contact with suppliers for the selection of devices and services
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years in a similar position
Required Technical Knowledge: Manufacturing Processes, Quality Systems, Automation, Industrial Electronics, Basic Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Statistical Process Control
