Job Description:

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and vehicle inspection? We’re looking for a proactive and thorough Pre-Delivery Inspector to join our Manufacturing Quality team in Warwick! This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure that every vehicle leaving our facility meets customer specifications and quality standards. You’ll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for excellence and supporting continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out in-process quality audits, including torque settings and hydraulic pressure checks
  • Systematically test each vehicle in line with inspection procedures
  • Confirm compliance with customer specifications before vehicles are passed to sales
  • Record build standard criteria and faults systematically for analysis
  • Promote constructive dialogue with manufacturing teams to implement quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement through data collection and feedback

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles (light vehicle or HGV)
  • Experience in vehicle inspection or specialist vehicle assembly is desirable
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems and quality assurance processes
  • Able to work to set deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Mechanical qualifications, HGV licence, or tachograph training are a bonus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Driving licence and flexibility for overtime are desirable
