We are seeking a Secondary Teacher to join our PDHPE faculty on a temporary basis, covering a period of parental leave across mid to late 2026. The role will commence around mid-2026, with flexibility in start date to support handover and candidate availability. This role includes teaching PDHPE and Community and Family Studies, with a teaching load of approximately 0.5 to 0.7 FTE, depending on candidate availability and subject mix. There may also be the opportunity to contribute to the Duke of Edinburgh Award program; however, this component can be adjusted or reassigned, providing flexibility in the overall FTE.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Hold relevant tertiary teaching qualifications
Be accredited with NESA
Hold a current Working with Children Check
Demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge and classroom practice
Exhibit excellent communication and classroom management skills
Be an active participant in a local church and committed to Christian education
Experience in PDHPE and/or Community and Family Studies is highly desirable
