Job Description:

Lead the entire warehouse team by coaching, guiding, and developing skills in line with corporate objectives. Responsible for all aspects and functions within the PDC, for communicating with dealership personnel and for achieving the PDC Annual Business Plan, financial and budget targets. Initiate operational improvements, benchmarks studies and conduct research to identify current and future methods to improve efficiencies or cost reductions while meeting or exceeding Customer expectations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the entire warehouse team by coaching, guiding, and developing skills
  • Responsible for all aspects and functions within the PDC
  • Communicate with dealership personnel
  • Achieve the PDC Annual Business Plan, financial and budget targets
  • Initiate operational improvements and benchmark studies
  • Maintain and improve warehouse operations to maximize space utilization and productivity
  • Monitor inbound, storage, outbound and distribution processes for parts and accessories
  • Oversee parts inventory and cycle count process
  • Develop and monitor functional performance measurement criteria
  • Serve as first point-of-conflict resolution on process questions
  • Establish and maintain excellent dealer relationships
  • Control comprehensive expense budget
  • Organize and conduct local Parts Council meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Materials, Operations Management, Business, or Engineering)
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with budget responsibility
  • 3+ years of leadership experience at a PDC and/or RDC
  • Knowledge of PDC practices and procedures
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to validate and interpret large quantities of data
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Conceptual thinking
  • Access, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Master's Degree (Materials, Operations, Management, Business, or Engineering)
  • Certified at Team Member level for Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies
  • ISO, QS or VDA Quality Systems
  • Working knowledge of ET-2000 or related SAP system
