PCU Registered Nurse

Join us as a PCU Registered Nurse in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry setting that offers a unique blend of challenging tasks and rewarding experiences. You'll be responsible for managing patients in cardiac telemetry, ER holding, medical-surgical, and step-down units, performing nursing duties such as sheath pulls, administering cardiac and insulin drips, and monitoring patients in respiratory distress up to but excluding ventilator care. The shift is night-time, requiring night owl skills, with 12-hour shifts providing a rhythm that becomes familiar quickly. Previous charge experience and work setting expertise are preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome. Expect to accept on-call duties and floating to different units as needed. Proficiency in Epic electronic health records and attire in black scrub will help you seamlessly integrate into this team.
