PC Technician

• Perform computer rebuilds, including hardware and basic software configurations
• Execute data wiping procedures using designated software tools to prepare devices for reuse
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure drives and essential hardware components are functioning properly
• Manage boot configurations and troubleshoot basic system errors
• Assist in maintaining and organizing computer inventory, ensuring all units meet operational standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete technical tasks efficiently and on schedule
• Provide support for hardware-focused tasks, such as component replacements and system upgrades
• Follow established protocols for handling Apple, Dell, IBM, and other device types
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and operational guidelines

• Demonstrated understanding of computer hardware components and their functions
• Basic proficiency in data entry and software tools for wiping and configuring devices
• Familiarity with operating systems, including Linux, Mac, and Windows environments
• Experience working with brands like Dell, IBM, and Apple is an advantage
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues independently
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Previous exposure to backup technologies and cable installation is a plus
