We are looking for a PC Technician to support hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for an Internet Service Provider in Tempe, Arizona. This is a Contract position for someone who is comfortable working with desktop and laptop equipment, peripheral devices, and physical connectivity tasks. The role involves hands-on technical support across Apple and Dell environments, with a focus on dependable device performance and timely issue resolution.
Job Responsibility
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware used across the organization
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues involving workstations, peripherals, and other associated hardware components
Provide hands-on support for Apple and Dell devices, including setup, replacement, and basic repair activities
Perform cable routing, connection, and organization to ensure clean and functional hardware installations
Test computer hardware and attached devices to confirm proper operation after installation or service
Respond to technical support requests and complete hardware-related tasks within established timelines
Track completed work, device status, and equipment updates using standard documentation practices
Requirements
Experience supporting computer hardware in a hands-on technical environment
Working knowledge of associated hardware such as monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and other peripherals
Ability to install and manage cabling for workstations and connected equipment
Familiarity with Dell Technologies systems and Apple devices
Skill in identifying hardware faults and resolving desktop or peripheral issues efficiently
Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain accurate service documentation
