We are looking for a PC Technician to support end users during a Microsoft Entra deployment in Feasterville Trevose, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position focuses on preparing user devices, guiding employees through authentication setup, and ensuring a smooth transition to refreshed workstations. The ideal candidate is comfortable following defined processes, working directly with users, and resolving common hardware and software setup needs in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Microsoft Entra rollout by preparing user devices and completing assigned setup activities at each site
Guide employees through OneDrive synchronization, multi-factor authentication enrollment with Microsoft Authenticator, and browser profile transition from Chrome to Edge
Reimage workstations with a clean operating system installation as part of device refresh and deployment tasks
Assist users with accessing their newly configured computers and confirm successful sign-in to required systems
Transfer and validate user files so business-related documents and resources are available in the appropriate organizational environment
Test access to essential applications, accounts, and services to ensure each user is ready to work after deployment
Document issues encountered during setup and escalate complex user or device problems to the designated support team for further resolution
Handle basic hardware-related tasks involving desktops, laptops, cables, and peripheral equipment as needed during deployment activities
Requirements:
Hands-on experience supporting desktop or laptop deployments, imaging, or workstation setup in an enterprise environment
Working knowledge of computer hardware, associated peripherals, and basic cable installation practices
Familiarity with Microsoft environments, including OneDrive, Microsoft Authenticator, and user workstation configuration
Ability to assist end users in person with sign-in support, data access checks, and general device readiness tasks
Experience working with hardware from major manufacturers such as Dell and supporting Apple devices when required
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills in onsite support settings
Ability to follow established procedures accurately while managing multiple device setup tasks efficiently
