Job Description:

LDC Care Company provides care to adults and young people with highly complex learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses, specialising in supporting individuals who may exhibit severely challenging behaviours. The role will help with the delivery of PROACT-SCIPr-UK® training, developing individual PBS plans, coaching employees across locations, and supporting the transition and care of individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help with the delivery of PROACT-SCIPr-UK® training
  • Developing individual PBS plans
  • Coaching employees across locations
  • Supporting the transition and care of individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern
  • Help shape practice standards and promote a rights-based, least-restrictive, person-centred approach throughout LDC locations
  • Occasional out-of-hours or weekend work may be necessary to support transitional work or provide crisis intervention support when needed

Requirements:

  • Solid, demonstrable background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or behaviours of concern
  • Experience in developing and delivering PBS plans and behaviour interventions
  • Certified PROACT-SCIPr-UK® Instructor (or equivalent BILD ACT-accredited)
  • Skilled in training delivery
  • Valid UK driving licence preferred
  • Flexibility to travel is essential
