Job Description

To ensure the efficient and accurate reviewing of timesheets against approved rosters so that there are no discrepancies.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintaining an accurate record of labor hours worked by each employee on each job site
  • Communicating with supervisors to provide updates on work progress or any issues that arise
  • Payroll administration, including tracking employee hours and pay rates, calculating overtime pay, and submitting payroll information to state agencies
  • Calculating timecards based on work orders, including start and end times, breaks, and lunch hours
  • Making sure that timekeeping records are stored securely
  • Monitoring timecards for accuracy and making any necessary adjustments
  • Reporting any timekeeping irregularities to supervisors for further investigation
  • Recording timekeeping data on spreadsheets or other computer software programs
  • Reviewing timesheets against approved roster and following up on any discrepancies
  • Respond to low level pay queries
  • Escalate any query to the team supervisor if you cannot answer/manage the query
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key site personnel

Requirements

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications within a relevant field such as Accounting– not essential
  • White Card
  • Minimum 2 years’ Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
  • High knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other presentation-based software
  • Experience in working with multiple different systems including Roster Space, Microsoft Office Suite and E7 - preferrable
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and targets, prioritizing tasks under pressure
