Job Description

The role involves managing payroll tax operations and ensuring compliance with tax laws across all states, using your strong knowledge of ADP and multistate payroll systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily payroll tax operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all processes
  • Uphold comprehensive knowledge of current tax laws and regulations across all states
  • Utilize ADP for efficient processing and management of payroll activities
  • Regularly review and reconcile W-2s, payroll balances, tax filings, and other financial records
  • Communicate and liaise with local, state, and federal agencies regarding tax-related issues
  • Respond to tax notices in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure compliance with township requirements in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey
  • Conduct audits and payroll reconciliation, and handle the registration process for new states
  • Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Use HRIS Payroll System and other tools for efficient payroll tax reporting

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a payroll tax specialist role or a similar position
  • Solid understanding and proficiency in ADP
  • Proven experience in auditing, specifically in relation to payroll tax
  • Expertise in Payroll Tax Reporting, Payroll Taxes, Payroll Tax Returns, and Payroll Tax Deposits
  • Familiarity with Multistate Payroll
  • Ability to utilize ADP Online effectively
  • Experience with HRIS Payroll System
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
