Job Description:

The Payroll Support Analyst will serve as the first line of support for employee payroll inquiries and transactional processing during the ERP transition. This role requires strong Lawson payroll experience, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will handle call-based employee support, process manual payroll adjustments, and maintain payroll accuracy through data validation and testing efforts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage employee payroll inquiries and provide accurate resolutions
  • Perform retro pay and manual calculations as needed
  • Update and maintain Lawson records for direct deposits, time corrections, and absences
  • Utilize Simplr for absence/timekeeping adjustments
  • Support year-end cleanup activities (address updates, validation, etc.)
  • Compare legacy and future system payroll report outputs during Oracle Cloud development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Requirements:

  • Lawson payroll experience required
  • Entry level to intermediate payroll operations background
  • Ability to explain payroll calculations to employees clearly and professionally
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills
  • Familiarity with Workday absence management a plus

  • Familiarity with Workday absence management a plus
