We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor to lead and manage payroll operations in Lenexa, Kansas. Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate bi-monthly payroll for over 500 employees
  • Manage multi-state payroll operations while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Utilize payroll systems such as Dayforce to streamline processes and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and other applicable labor laws
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve errors proactively
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll tax regulations and wage laws to maintain compliance
  • Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of payroll operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive payroll experience, including managing multi-state payroll
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in using payroll systems such as Dayforce, Workday, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to process full-cycle payroll for organizations with 500+ employees
  • Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to solve complex payroll issues
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with employees and teams at various organizational levels
  • Familiarity with prevailing wage requirements and other specialized payroll regulations
