We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. In this role, you will oversee and manage payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. This is a long-term contract position, offering a great opportunity to contribute your expertise in payroll management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage full-cycle payroll operations, including processing, auditing, and reporting
  • Oversee multi-state payroll functions to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate bi-monthly payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees
  • Implement and enforce payroll policies to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Handle payroll data for multiple platforms, including UKG Pro and Workday Payroll
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of payroll tax filings and other required documentation
  • Train and mentor payroll staff to enhance performance and efficiency
