Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director to oversee and streamline payroll operations for a growing organization in New York, New York. This role requires expertise in managing full-cycle payroll processes and ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining accuracy and efficiency while handling payroll for a large workforce.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and execute full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Oversee multi-state payroll operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll and maintain employee records
  • Administer bi-monthly payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in payroll procedures
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports to support decision-making processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll operations
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
  • Ability to handle bi-monthly payroll for large employee populations
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across departments
  • Familiarity with payroll reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
