Job Description:

The Payroll Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role requiring in-depth disciplinary knowledge and expertise in payroll processes. The role involves process improvement, project execution, and compliance. Effective communication, analytical skills, and leadership are vital components of the role.

Job Responsibility:

performs business analysis support for an HR and Payroll operations organization
creates and manages the documentation of internal procedures and business requirements
serves as subject matter expert for payroll processes and procedures
executes test plans and identifies and documents discrepancies
creates and runs data verification reports utilizing queries
interacts with customers on production and project support
plans and executes complex projects and coordinates over a broader departmental spectrum
involved in coaching and training of new recruits
identifies and mitigates potential risks
ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and tax requirements

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience in a related role
demonstrated execution capabilities
in-depth understanding and knowledge while contributing to the development of new techniques and processes for the area or function
bilingual (Spanish & English)
strong planning, organizing, and execution skills
in-depth understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
familiarity with payroll software and systems
ability to analyze data and identify potential issues
ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during implementation
