Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, Part-Time (12 hours/week) Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Decatur, Georgia. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing payroll operations, including full-cycle and multi-state payroll processes. This role requires proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and a strong understanding of payroll taxes and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance for all employees
Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles efficiently and on schedule
Handle multi-state payroll processing, adhering to varying state regulations and tax requirements
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to input, review, and maintain payroll data
Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits contributions
Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies
Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax-related concerns
Generate payroll reports and summaries for internal review and external compliance purposes
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration
Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance

Requirements:

Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for organizations of 100-500 employees
Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management
Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance regulations
Ability to process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles accurately and efficiently
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills for handling employee inquiries and cross-team collaboration
Familiarity with generating payroll reports and conducting audits
