Payroll Specialist

• Provide comprehensive support for payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
• Manage time and attendance systems, specifically Workforce, to maintain accurate employee records
• Collaborate with front-line leaders to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues effectively
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform calculations, analyze data, and support payroll audits
• Apply knowledge of payroll codes and regulations, including state-specific laws such as California overtime rules
• Handle garnishments and ensure proper processing within payroll systems
• Conduct audits and offer insights for process improvements when needed
• Adapt to evolving technologies and systems to enhance payroll efficiency
• Assist in payroll-related analysis to support decision-making processes

• Prior experience in payroll operations
• Proficiency in time and attendance systems, particularly Workforce
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with accounting software and tools, including Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of payroll-related garnishments and their processing
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to perform audits and identify discrepancies
• Capability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
• Familiarity with state-specific payroll laws, such as California overtime regulations is preferred
