Dynamic New York City organization is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist. If you have 2+ years of payroll processing experience, a background managing payroll for workforces of 500+ employees—including multi-state payroll—and are seeking a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we’d love to connect with you!
Job Responsibility:
Accurately process end-to-end payroll for 500+ employees on a bi-weekly basis
Manage multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
Oversee payroll data entry, salary changes, deductions, and adjustments
Maintain and reconcile payroll records, reports, and audit documentation
Address employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner
Collaborate with HR and Finance on reporting, benefits administration, and year-end processes
Ensure accurate processing of bonuses, commissions, overtime, and special pay
Requirements:
2+ years of payroll processing experience, including organizations with 500+ employees
Demonstrated experience with multi-state payroll
Thorough knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices
Familiarity with leading payroll software (ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc. a plus)
Union payroll experience highly desired, but not required
