We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. In this contract position, you will be responsible for overseeing accurate and efficient payroll operations within a dynamic real estate organization. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with HR and Finance teams while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 400 employees with precision and adherence to company policies
Calculate and administer bonus and commission payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage multi-state payroll transactions using ADP Workforce Now, maintaining proper documentation and reporting
Conduct payroll-related journal entries and reconcile cash accounts post-processing
Partner with HR to track employee updates and implement necessary payroll adjustments
Allocate payroll expenses across properties using Yardi software for accurate financial reporting
Generate detailed payroll reports and provide actionable insights for decision-making
Stay informed about payroll regulations, including Minnesota Paid Leave requirements, to ensure compliance
Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or errors promptly
Requirements:
At least 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing
Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management
Experience processing payroll for organizations with over 200 employees
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in payroll and accounting
Effective communication skills for collaboration with HR and Finance departments
Solid knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards
