Job Description:

We are partnering with a client to hire a Payroll Specialist for a short-term assignment focused on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across a multi-state workforce. This is a critical, hands-on role supporting payroll operations for fewer than 500 employees. Immediate impact role with a well-established organization. Short-term commitment with quick start. Opportunity to leverage your ADP Workforce Now expertise in a high-visibility assignment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll for under 500 employees
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll execution
  • Manage deductions, taxes, and adjustments
  • Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain payroll records and support reporting needs
  • Partner with HR and accounting on payroll-related inquiries

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required – must have)
  • Proven experience processing multi-state payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of payroll laws and compliance
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration
  • Demonstrated background in full-cycle payroll processing
  • Experience managing payroll for employees in multiple states
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
  • Ability to process payroll for an employee population exceeding 500 workers
  • Familiarity with onboarding activities that impact payroll setup and employee records
