We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a contract position based in Spokane, Washington. This role will manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong payroll expertise, experience working with large employee populations, and hands-on knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
Job Responsibility:
Process complete payroll cycles for a large workforce, ensuring timely and accurate payment delivery
Administer multi-state payroll activities while maintaining compliance with applicable wage, tax, and reporting requirements
Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, review, audit, and finalize payroll data
Reconcile payroll records and investigate discrepancies related to earnings, deductions, taxes, and employee changes
Maintain payroll documentation and support audit readiness through accurate recordkeeping and reporting
Partner with internal teams to resolve payroll issues and respond to employee pay-related questions promptly
Monitor payroll transactions for employees across a population of more than 500 workers and identify potential errors before processing is completed
Requirements:
Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing
Background handling payroll for employees working in multiple states
Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
Strong understanding of payroll practices, deductions, taxes, and compliance standards
Experience supporting payroll for organizations with more than 500 employees
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
