We have a great opportunity to join a stable yet growing payroll department in the upstate! If you have previous payroll experience or have an interest in kicking off a career in payroll, we may have the job for you! This is a contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will have prior payroll knowledge or worked in a fast-paced environment that required you to be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Job Responsibility:
Manage payrolls on weekly basis for 500+ employees
Maintain and review timekeeping records to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll documentation, including time sheets and related reports
Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and provide solutions
Monitor payroll data for consistency and integrity, identifying and correcting errors as needed
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Assist in process improvements related to payroll functions to enhance overall efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll management, preferably in high-volume environments
Strong knowledge of timekeeping systems and payroll software
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and address payroll-related concerns
