We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a diverse workforce. This position requires expertise in managing multi-state payroll and full-cycle payroll processes.
Job Responsibility:
Process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance requirements
Manage full-cycle payroll operations, including data entry, calculations, adjustments, and reporting
Utilize payroll systems such as Paychex and Workday to handle payroll tasks efficiently
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
Generate and distribute payroll reports to support business operations and decision-making
Handle payroll tax filings and ensure accuracy in reporting
Reconcile payroll data to maintain consistency and resolve discrepancies
Provide support during audits by preparing necessary payroll documentation
Stay updated on changes in payroll policies and regulations to maintain compliance
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and procedures
Proficiency in payroll systems such as Paychex and Workday
Familiarity with payroll tax filings and reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with HR and accounting teams
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle payroll discrepancies
