Perform full spectrum of APAC payroll functions and ensure monthly payroll process for new hires, terminations, salary changes, compensation and benefit payouts are executed promptly, accurately and in compliance with country statutory regulations and company policies. Close collaboration with our service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate salary payments to employees. Prepare and consolidate monthly reports and variable payroll data (e.g. retail bonus, OT allowance, salary adjustment, etc.) from systems and internal teams to service providers. Review, validate and reconcile payroll output files from service providers to ensure accuracy. Per the payroll calendar ensure payroll inputs reach our provider on time and ensure banking transactions are completed in accordance with pay date deadlines. Handle payroll related statutory filings and payments in a proper and timely manner. Assist in year-end tax activities to ensure filings are done within statutory deadlines. Liaise with People & Culture team, payroll vendor and tax authorities in relation to benefits, pensions, social insurance and other taxes. Follow up with relevant Teams regarding incomplete and/or inaccurate personal data. Respond to payroll related queries in a timely and professional manner. Stay up to date on local labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements. Assist or provide required information on internal/external audits, including payroll or country regulatory audits. Ad-hoc project with Payroll Manager's guidance.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree or above
At least 3 years solid working experience in C&B function
Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
Knowledge and experience using HR, Payroll and Time and Leave Management systems required
Proficient in using Microsoft Office especially Excel functions
Strong organizational skills
Able to work independently and work closely with people manager
Professional manner in keeping sensitive and confidential information
Nice to have:
an international payroll experience would be an advantage
